The Forum of Parliaments of the ICGLR held, by videoconference, the 7th Statutory Meeting of the Committee on “Peace and Security”, on September 1, 2020.
The Parliamentarians members of this Committee examined the report of the 6th Statutory Meeting of the Committee held on 4th December 2019 in Bujumbura, Republic of Burundi, debated on “The Implication of COVID-19 Pandemic on Peace and Security: The Case of ICGLR Member-States” and analyzed the preliminary draft resolution on mitigating the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Great Lakes Region.
